This design is a tribute to the awesome Sierra games of the late 80s and early 90s that I grew up on. I'm so chuffed it got picked for print, and it's nice to have a bit more variation from my usual style of submission. In fact, this is my first ever foray into Illustrator. All of my other designs have been hand rendered and editted in FotoHaus - so I'm over the moon that my first design to be created on the computer from start to finish was chosen to be printed.

I need to give a big thank you to everyone who helped during the critique process. It was pretty drawn out, but the feedback from the community really shaped and changed this design for the better. I'm gutted I didn't do it all in the critique section because I might have had a contender for the Bestee Critique Award 2008! :P As it is, the process took place in the critique, on the blog, and on flickr. It was a vital process, so thanks again to the critiquers!
