Waiting is so hard to do!

Blah! So I just posted my first design and I'm already antsy to know how it's doing. Do any of you experienced designers pimp your designs to your friends and make them vote?

Does mentioning your design here make a difference?

I don't know if mentioning your design makes any difference at all (I don't participate much here; just shop here with the exception of voting for a friend's design last year)...but if it helps, I voted for yours! I said I'd buy it, too!
