hmm, north america doesn't look very accurate as far as shape goes? but other than that i really like this.

should change the name of the tools, maybe something enviromental , name the tool for each of the things that are destroying the earth, as is we are buchering the earth and this are the tools we are using.

Hmmm... dude, I like the concept and the way you did it... but I knew I have seen it before... and it's been done like 3 times here.
Of course your approach is much better than all the others, and the tools list adds a new level to the joke... but I wanted to tell you this because it's better for you to know it now and not when it's scoring :)

Yeah dude... I know what you mean!
It happened to me too... Once I was thinking about a concept, made some sketches and saw it up for scoring made by someone else :P

It's a pity that you had it pretty finished... maybe there's a chance that you can find a twist to the idea.... maybe adding some different sorts of food...

Anyway... your stuff is always great so I know your life is not depending on this idea :P

I dunno, I like this one ok too, I don't know that anyone would get that mad at you if you subbed it, it's done very well. But yeah I have ideas all the time and then I find out DOH they were done before :(

I also find it weird that 4 different people came up with this idea. It's a great idea for sure, but not one I'd expect 3 other people besides myself to think up. Bizarre.

dude... if it is already done you should sub it.
I honestly think yours is the best one, so maybe threadless is not printing this idea because no one solved it right (but you finally did)

Of course you shouldn't feel bad because we all know you didn't still anything... you don't need to.

I see no problem with it, you came up with it independently and yours is the best, especially with the tool addition. You should expect many comments and links to the other 3 subs though. That's going to disrupt/distract from the voting and there might be some accusations of plagiarism to go along with it. If you were to sub, you might open with a comment explaining what happened. You may even link the other 3 designs once it's up so you're seen as open and honest about it and beat any others to the punch.

I dunno, it's going to be tough to manage for and against comments, this could get messy :-C

Agree with Santo. You did the work and you did it honestly. Besides there's 3 versions of this, did the second 2 feel bad about submitting theirs?

You'll probably will take some heat but everyone here knows you as straight up and honorable. Just do it :D

soloyo, i got your idea but if i change the name off the tools how about the tools it self, do you think i need to change it too?

How about removing the words altogether and have them represented by a square of colour? Then have different parts of the map speckled with different flags of the different colours and dotted lines of where the meat's gonna be cut. Hahaha, I'm overthinking it.
