I'll call this..Goodbye cruel world!

...the original idea is the bird missed very much his free world (out there)! for him (bird) death better than life inside the cage!

I try to make it simple and clean design..you think this is ready for me to sub? ..any suggestion?

i don't think i fully understand this. it's a fine drawing, but i don't see how the title matches up with the design. why is the bird cage outside? couldn't the bird just fly away or something?

i think i prefer the khaki version

I think the cat makes for a more interesting composition on the shirt, but I think the bird by itself makes more sense as a narration.

It depends which you are more interested in.

I like the concept of your image. Not into the window, it just seems unnatural. I think this could work if the birdcage was in an indoor setting, or if the bird had simply hung itself from a tree or maybe shot himself & the cat found the body. Clever idea & very morbid!

I'm a bit confused, which version is the newest? With or Without the window?

I like it without the window and the cat the most. The cat did look great, but it didn't add much to the story. Like tomas said, it looks like it was only there to fill up some space.

I'd love to know what it looks like as a huge print on the shirt! Good luck :) Can't wait to see the next version!

kinda depressing...that was probably what you were going for though.
i would put the bird (still hanging still in cage) inside of a window display for a pet shop on a promenade with people walking by not even paying attention you could have other animals in their cages on display too alive and happy looking...or if you want to keep the sad them going, the pedestrians are still oblivious (or not) and all the animals in the window are hanging dead like they coordinated this peaceful (but not really) demonstration...and if you happen to show the name of the pet shop make it something positve sounding like Sunnydale or Happy Farts to emphasize the contrast...

what? was that too much?

lol @ nice.. I only read 'happy farts' so I thought you just wrote a bullshit story. But after reading it all.. I think that's a nice idea actually. Allthough creating a complete store might distract from the actual subject. The bird will be very small on the shirt too..

well, all you'd have to do is scale it...
don't show the whole store just zoom in on the window
you can place the name of the store like it was a decal...on the window. only have one two or three people in the shot from like the thigh up and bring focus to the bird by putting him in the middle of all the happy animals or off in a corner somewhere (maybe close to where our actual heart would be)
trust if all the animals are happy you will notice the dead bird where your heart would be. Or that's why i said make them all dead making a bigger more noticeable statement because I knew the bird itself could get lost in the sauce in an image like that.

Bring the birdcage forward and put in inside of the window. Instead of the cage hanging from the tree, hang it from an unseen ceiling(add chainlinks attached to top of cage) or a stand on the indoor side of window. Then have birds in background looking in from the tree branches. So this should look when you move from foreground to background: cage(hanging from ceiling or on stand), window, branches with birds.

Oh yeah, go with the gray tee and white noose. And also the cat isn't necessary.

Title suggestion- "Who mocks the mockingbird?"
Or "The last night of Nightingale"

Tell me which parts you like or don't like. :)

nop Dr MonA! ..still doing it BUT cos of my lack of skills in drawing so its will be a bit slow! haha! :P

and now actually i'm been a bit bizzy getting my work done for my pre-loved sub! and i don't know is it can be done in time or not! :)
