HOT! REVOLUTION - WIP, help me..question?

This is my upcoming design; I call it "Hot"! will try this on the REVOLUTION TH love contest. I have a few questions here, cos I'm not very sure/clear about the new TH printing type/style. Can it be done here, would TH print this type of design? and any suggestions/comments are most welcome!

i) 5 single colors (yellow, orange, red, brown & black) + gradient color (from the same color as the 5 single colors).

ii) is it possible for TH to print big + back & front placement (as bellow) on the hoody/tee?

iii) is it possible to print until a shoulder part + back & front (placement)?

iv) is it possible to print back & front (almost the same size)?

You can always try to submit it. I was also experimenting with other alternative placements like with "Migratory Aviator" sub.

Btw you never cease to astound me with your details Jemae. :D

15" wide by 20" tall is about the largest we can go without it getting all stretched out. Not much(if any) of the design would go onto the sleeves. You also have to keep in mind all shirt sizes thus giving a different effect/look.

I don't think this would work on a hoodie due to the amount of inks. Each time you print over the pocket ink builds up. It's not a huge issue with one color but 5+ it's going to be cake city

i just design this base on what i understand from this: THREADLESS love's REVOLUTION

In the spirit of Threadless Loves Threadless, New Years Revolution challenges you to do something different, something breathtaking, something groundbreaking.

High concept, super fresh, visually and mentally stimulating design is what we're looking for. Typography, halftones, mixed media, crazy textures, 8-colors, foils, and specialty inks� Forget what sells, forget about making everybody "get it," make it weird and artsy, scare your parents and just forget how it votes!

Actually not much character on this design, nothing is logic about this.. just a design with one pattern symbol, i cho0se wings as a high flying symbol & the burning flame is to represent HOT! this mean i try to put THREADLESS always flying high as a leading tee & the hottest tee ever!

wow - THis is really great! I do like the colors, but i WOuld like to see it on a darker, perhaps maroon - only cause I don't wear the bright red -

great job on this one. i think the randomness of it will throw a lot of people off, like shimala's comment..

the colours are real neat though. And a good rash design for the REVOLUTION. im a bit tired of seeing Che Guavera (sp?) subs and fists. It wasn't the point of the contest in the first place.

Great job. BTW, your 'Shiver Me Timbers' is spectacular. You got talent that's for sure. :-)

(And nice commenting on my neglected blog. i was beginning to wonder why i even bother posting them in the first place)

Jemae, I love your work, you already know that, but I'm not keen on this for the Revolution... We're only allowed to submit one piece for the Revolution and we've still got 30 days to sit on this. I say to hold off, put this on the back-burner and try something else.

Feel free to be honest on mine when it comes up, don't hold back..

Visually it's interesting, but what does it say? What is revolutionary about this? It doesn't speak to me at all. It doesn't stir anything in me, it doesn't take a chance. Pull out the stops man. Find something that is intensly gripping to you as an individual and throw caution to the wind. Forget visual oddities and gimmicks and drop kick the voters in the mental groin.
