To all those complaining: you aren't going to like every shirt. Each person who enjoys Threadless shirts I'm sure likes different prints for different reasons.

Honestly, when a shirt comes out that you're not in love with, maybe it's time to breathe a sigh of relief. If you don't like this design, hurrah for your pocketbook. There will always be more shirts, and you'll probably like some of the future prints.

People seem quick to point out shirts they don't like as a sign of
Threadless "lowering its standards," but never have any alacrity in saying "I like this shirt; it must be a sign that Threadless is refining its standards."

Eck. Didn't mean to go on so long. I'm in essay-writing mode due to finals.

And for the record, I like this shirt. I just don't have the funds to buy it.... ;.;

Actually, I'm pretty sure when Deadless came out I loudly applauded and thanked Threadless for printing something so abstract.

Hot damn. Fast responses here, it seems. *must resist procrastination lure*

Anyway:

goldensara, probably ^^

iPear, I am confused. (No, not really. =P) Also, I find your "about me" amusing.

Sassmo, I officially do not consider you part of the group that sees only the negative.

Okay. Now I really have to study.

This is the philosophy I have about differences in opinion--A: "I hate vanilla ice cream!" B: "What are you talking about? It's the best thing ever!" A: "More for you!"

Oh, but to Sassmo, it would probably be more effective to say, "I don't like this particular shirt," rather than to over-generalize with, "Threadless has become juvenile."

People go to extremes far too easily.

the main argue with it i believe was the fact that the artist promoted his winning all over the internet even before it was for sale; which is a rule breaker.

i think that people have different tastes in everything.

i don't like coffee. king soopers sells coffee. does that mean that King Soopers is lowering it's standards? no!

um...they took down the blurb about them winning the DAY THE SHIRT CAME OUT. That's shitty IMO. I also don't get why another design website is submitting stuff here...

I have no problem with threadless printing some cutesy stuff but lately it's just been an overload. I would love to take advantage of the sale but there's absolutely nothing I would buy.
