no offense to the artist, but the colors on this are...well, awful. Not to even get into how it's maybe the poorest google vector steal I think I've ever seen. And if it's NOT a crap vector then it's a really bad drawing choice.

I have no idea how this scored as well as it did, unless all the voters suddenly decided to not hate a) poorly rendered images (the figure, I mean - the gas pump is nice), b) shadows and c) poor color choices.



and threadless already did a "woe, the gas prices shirt" with Grassoline. This shirt makes me think Grassoline should be hanging on a gallery wall somewhere.

just to let you guys know, i left shirt color choice up to the good people at threadless. i was as surprised as you at the orange, but i came to like it.

okay I worked the quantity and exchange rate conversion and we pay in the UK an equivalent of over $7.50 US gallon, I just got back from florida and its less than $3 there, also at the moment the £ is really strong, if it was weaker it would work out even more that $7.50...

Though I did notice your cars only do like 20 - 30 mpg, while again the US conversion, a lot of UK cars hit almost 50 mpg. I dont like to bitch but maybe getting more efficient cars is the solution?

or are the real culprits the gas companies- using politics as an excuse? Every major gas company has continued to post a record profit. In any other market, a "crisis" such as this would affect the profit margins of industry players...

Can't it just represent that we're being held up at the pump? Anyway, I like the design as well as the color. IMO the orange works.
