I never really read them ... I use imdb only to look things up and never wanted to join ... are they really as bad as I hear?

If you like horrible grammar and polls concerning which actor is "hotter" then the imdb forums shouldn't be a problem for you.

well, it depends....



if you go to see the differents points of view of films such primer or doonie darko or mullholland drive you may find really interesting things.



also, independent movie threads are good.



if you go to read britney spears forum....well....just don't
