Hey All,
I've been buying Threadless tees for several years now and loved the American Apparel shirts. I bought one of the new "Threadless" brand tees recently and it's just not the same. It's thinner and it's cut oddly. I loved the old American Apparel shirts as they fit just right and were the perfect thickness.

Bring back American Apparel - please! I'd pay extra.

Thanks,
Jeff

Um, you're both guys. The guys shirts weren't printed on American Apparel (well except for the Selects.)

either way, american apparel in general is awesome, and i haven't heard one good thing about these threadless shirts yet.

AA are by far the best. I'd easily pay a little extra to keep them around. The Threadless shirts are a deal killer for me, so I may not be a customer for much longer...sad. There is just no consistency in the Threadless shirts. I have two mens L that are COMPLETELY different sizes. With AA I always knew what I would get. Now it's like playing russian roulette with all cotton

Count me in here. I wont stop buying due to the new Threadless tees, but I definitely prefer the AA. The biggest problem with the girls Threadless I've noticed is sleeve.. diameter. Sometimes the sleeves fit fine, but I actually returned Deaths Sweet Seduction because the sleeves were like.. HUGE. Like they put 2XL sleeves on a small shirt :(

I know I'm in the minority here, but I don't mind the lighter weight shirts. As a very busty female, I am happy to get a shirt that fits my bust without swallowing me everywhere else.

I absolutely LOVE the Threadless custom shirts! They fit perfectly, are oh so soft, and are all around awesome!

yeah... wait, why are guys complaining about the lack of AA?

Haha, Tora, I was wondering the same... the ones in the product photos up at top on this guy's profile are all Fruit of the Loom. Which were consistent in sizing, but not as soft (being a polyester/cotton blend)... and I've heard a number of guys complain about the sleeves being "wingy."

AA shirts have always been inconsistent in size, so there's no advantage there over the Threadless tees. For the girls, I really love how the new tees are cut.

for me, the fotl was really inconsistent. the few AAs I got fit wonderfully... but we're only talking like 3, so im not to knowledgeable there.

i miss the AA shirts :( the new ones are thin and the quality is not as good, they outsourced them from bangladesh. ergh. cutting corners. i love threadless nonetheless

i love the new shirts. they fit me a lot better than the AA ones did, and they are more comfortable.

I usually like the fit of the new guys shirts, but sometimes the head/neck hole seems too small, and the sleeves too baggy. I've also had some inconsistent sizing issues, and the shirts used for the Selects are always smaller than normal.

Hate the new girly shirts - the weird really thin collar, the overall thinness of the shirt, and the much tighter fit.

I'd prefer AA so I could wear girly shirts again that actually fit me, but I don't generally mind the new guys shirts.

that's weird, i actually had to go down a size in threadless brand. am i a freak of nature? i was a girly L in AA, and am a girly M in threadless. and they fit me much, much better...the AA ones were always tight around mah bewbs.

I hate it because guys small runs out first, and girly XL never runs out. Now I'll never be able to get the shirts I want:(

weird, lordog! Maybe the new shirts are roomier in the boob area but less roomy other places. I used to be a girly L and now have to order girly XL to get a girly shirt that fits. So I typically go the guys small route, as I don't like the new girly shirts anyway.

that's interesting. i guess it just depends on the person. too bad they can't make 'em custom fit to each person's body! ;)
