gah I did that once
except my oven mitt fell into the oven and caught on fire
then I took it out with two forks and left it on the floor whilst screaming for help.

Oh heck.
I once took an oven try out of a hot oven while using a tea towel. The tea towel caught on fire. the whole house smells of burning oil. Yuck

I left my plastic luch box on a hot element once. We had to buy a new stove casue the plastic went everywhere and got in all the cracks and stuff. That week I was not in my parents good books.

My bro did something similar after a dose of the wooden spoon when he was a toddler. He hid it in the heater, only the spoon wasn't wood, it was plastic, damn thing fumed the whole house full of plastic toxic aroma. Mum re thought dishing out a spanking

They have now baned spanking in NZ, I'm still not 100% sure how they are going to police it though. I mean kids lie all the time, so they could make up some stories or something.

mm I didnt know they had banned it in NZ. The policing is a massive issue, hardly a deterrant. Kids def lie all the time in fact its a sign of intellegence
