i don't see how this is a spin. it looks like a thousand sparrow tattoos i have seen. it's a huge joke in one of the bad tattoo communities i watch. swallows with those swirlies for eyes. maybe you mean the stars included in the swirlies, in which case i should inform you that stars are the other big joke in the community. tribal would be the other. this just looks like flash i've seen like flash i've seen like flash i've seen.

or you could resubmit it with a new forest?

$5. i don't think it needs anything, actually. i like the vignette. it's like a little cameo and quite classic. this classical presentation is as if one has found a little antique pendant, but it's not quite what it seems. the natural colour of the tee is like it were printed on vellum. intriguing and evocative of medical antiques and also, paradoxically, as i said, jewellery (cameos and scrimshaw, perhaps because of the natural colour). and i like her wistful look.

i'm unsure if i'd buy this, but the realism in a surreal image appeals to me. i think the execution is really grand and reminds me of some of my fave artists who apply hyper-realism to surreal subjects (like lynch). it gives it that kind of dream-like quality. i ramble. but i say good things, because i enjoy it. it's the details that make it. i don't mind the circle. perhaps we see what madame ruby sees, reminiscent of her crystal ball. or perhaps it just adds to the kitsch.

though i wouldn't wear it, i love the kitsch factor and i think it's well done.
