Threadless

mollten aka James is a boy, has been a member since June 2, 2006, has scored 320 submissions, giving an average score of 2.42, helping 5 designs get printed.
Surely, it's much quicker and easier to say 'yes' or 'no' than to rate something out of 5?

because clicking "no" gets boring

Because they're not as interesting.

And this is coming from someone who, out of boredom, has submitted about fifty slogans in the last twenty-four hours.

Aristarchus, I know what you mean.

Boredom does make you submit random phrases.

I'll praise your good ones if you praise mine.

I need the external validation.

Actually, what I really want to know is what is a good number of people to rate a slogan?

Like, if after forty votes a slogan is still at thirty-five percent, should I keep holding out hope that the number of voters might increase? Or is that like the ceiling?

see, i'm not sure. I've got some around 40%, and looking at other people, this seems good. However, surely 40% is bad in reality (2/5)?

i find the t-shirt designs interesting. i learn about art when i vote on them.

i find the slogans kind of boring. i've never come across one that liked, while voting. youall don't want me voting on them ;)

because there's like a gagillion more slogans than there are designs.

slogans might be more fun if everyone knew everyone elses inside jokes?

It's strange, my fave slogans that i've submitted are the ones that have low % such as 'Lobotomy: free your mind'.

It just seems like people on here prefer stuff about pirates or ninjas (yawn).

Since the voting system always puts the slogans with the least amount of votes first, it will just take a while before slogans with 40+ votes get seen by new eyes. It would help if people would score slogans when they were bored rather than submit them.

i thought so. Threadless need to change the system really.

There seems like there is no filter on the slogans, and there are just too damn many.

The thing about the art is that people take the time to create something, and I suppose I respect and am more interested in that than some meaningless phrase....the largest percentage of which are not even witty
