I just had the freakish experience of pouring out a handful of M&Ms, and both times I have done so I have poured out ALL THE SAME COLOUR!!!

First handful orange, second blue, now I'm having brown!

I am totally in love with some of the designs I've seen submitted, have scored, etc.

But they never seem to be printed. Indeed, the designs that have been printed over the last 4 weeks I have never even seen on my regular (proscrastinating? ME? Never) visits to the 'designs in the running' galleries.

So I guess my question, oh seasoned threadless users, is what gets a shirt printed? Is it the score? Does it need to be above a certain threshold? Is it the subject? The whim of a man in an office? What makes it happen for some designs and not others?

Also, how long after a design is submitted and voted on do the shirts get printed?
