True story. It happened right around the corner and I´m still sweaty as I type.
So I´m doing my daily run around the area I live, it had just rained and the lonely road was still wet. As I´m approaching a curve I notice the 10 or so contruction workers that were gathered around on the other side of the street talking and what not (I am on the other side). All of a sudden i look to my left and bam, not more than a meter away dead person covered with a blanket, motorcycle smashed against a wall. I continued my run as if nothing happened but inside all i could think about was secretion scenes from drag me to hell and my own mortality. By the time I ran around back home the police was there and the poor man was still lying there for everyone to see. Very sad day.

![]() I BARELY made it this time...I wasn´t going to participate because no idea satisfied me and then finally I noticed one approach hadn´t been used. I wanted to make it a real challenge for me so I had to reaaaaallly think a lot for the content and also try to make it look as colorful as possible without using much color. To make it even more difficult I wanted to use ONLY graphic elemnts that I have used in the past just to give it a bit more of a literal ¨preloved¨ feel to it. As far as the placement goes, I wanted to try an all over print. This is a poorly photoshopped example.
As you know, I´m very much into Threadless stats and trends and whatnot. This time, I´ve discovered something very strange that has to do with Love comps winners. It´s a common link between 4 of the last 5 to be exact.
Less is more, travel, horror and green. You see all four have the same underlying conceptual structure that has proven to be extremely succesful. They are all animals/things/creatures on top of other animals heading somewhere. It is very strange to me that out of these comps that have completely different themes have extremely similar outcomes. Anyway, this is not a judgement, just an observation. Maybe it´s just coincidence but Preloved has a lot of vehicle/travel themes so we may see this same winning concept again. ![]() ![]() ![]()
you should support this sub in its final hours...
![]() Reports in newspapers and on television have heightened public awareness that playing video games can, in rare cases, trigger seizures, but there is no scientific evidence that video games can cause epilepsy. I´m just making fun of paranoid parents and teachers basically. |
I haven't submitted any photos. I guess I don't want free money.
