I got two questions
1. What should I do if the cartridge slides on the record while it's playing? 2. How do I get rid of the static popping noise? Thanks in advance.

And why in the world would you want to get rid of the static?! Most of the times you can't, it's just the way the record is. You can try a different stylus, but it mostly likely won't make much of a difference.
