I was just browsing through some Ebay auctions and came across this auction.
It's one of those 'mystery auctions' where they give out 1000 envelopes with various amounts of money in them. He says the amounts are: 2- Contains $500 8- Contain $100 20- Contain $25 70- Contain $10 200- Contain $5 250- Contain $1 450- Contain .01-.50$ That's 1000 envelopes. There are 994 left, which means six have been sold. Now suppose those 6 were the two $500 and 4 $100. That still leaves all the others. If you add up the ones left, you get a total of over $1400. So what if someone bought the last 994 for $994. Wouldn't that mean they would get $1400+ back? Am I missing something, or is this guy gonna loose money? Unless he's lying. |
I haven't submitted any photos. I guess I don't want free money.
