So, as bad as it is to pimp my stuff:
If you guys haven't yet, check out the updated store section of my website: www.joshuakemble.com I've got some sweet limited edition silkscreened and offset lithograph posters for NADA SURF, LOW, DAMIEN JURADO, and the DANDY WARHOLS, signed and numbered by me for sale, as well as the second printing of my 24 page comic book NUMB available! Also, if you'd like me to, I can even personally sign any copy of numb you order! Check it out!
I'm just flattered to have the guys at screwball press rock such an amazing print of my stuff! Thanks threadless! and thanks Screwball!!!
I've recently delved into the world of event posters, and so far I've made event posters for Low, Nada Surf, as well as Damien Jurado... I've recently finished the artwork for an event poster for low, and would like to screen print about 100 posters of it, and the kicker is, it's four colors... My budgets pretty limited, but I'd be down to pay! Anyone ambitious enough to want to try screen printing it? My posters will be for sale in the store section of my website after the shows Here
Sorry about the lack of updates/designs... My fiance and I just moved to Portland, OR from Huntington Beach, CA... Once I catch up on freelance stuff, I'll totally start voting/posting stuff again! I miss all mah threadless buds though :) Hope all is well!
Hey! I finally got around to making a new, simpler (thus easier to update) website! Let me know what you guys think!
click here to check out www.joshuakemble.com about Attack of Literacy!
I'm a big fan of classic literature, as well as cheezy grindhouse and trashy pulp covers, so I thought I'd mix the two into a design for a shirt! Thanks to all the voters once again for pushing for this to get printed! And, thanks to threadless for rocking once again on the printing!
Hey, just thought you guys might want to check out my latest submission (not up for scoring yet)... My first belt print design, but I think it'd look sick as hell, and hope you agree:
![]() ![]() And, yes, I know it's a silly pun, but the concept had me cracking up a lot, so I hope you enjoy this: ![]() and, sorta continuing the exploration of styles, I thought I'd do a simple novelty design... If it hasn't been done yet, I've hit gold.... If it has, well, it'll for sure score low, check it out, and decide for yourself: about Blonde on Blonde
I loved the song Blonde on Blonde, and wanted to make an illustration that would hopefully sort of capture what the song was about. So I inked this by hand, then scanned it, colored it in photoshop, and realizing how abstract it was, pretty much gave up hope for it getting picked by threadless for print. The voters totally surprised me by scoring it relatively high, and the people at threadless rocked by picking it up for print. So then came my other worry... How in the devil would someone screen this? I thought it would be insanely impossible to screen. Once again, threadless came through by doing what looks like an amazing job screening the artwork on their shirts! Anyhow... Thanks to the staffers who totally made a lovely t-shirt that looks just like I imagined it, and thanks even more so to the bloggers and voters who went for it!
