I figured I could ask here since threadless people know anything.

My grandfather was a radio actor in Cuba and we have several recordings of him on vinyl. For father's day I'd love to put them onto CDs for my Dad, but I have no idea if this is possible or if it is reasonably priced.

So is there any company I can look to for this? Maybe even local stores offer this? I have no idea whatsoever, but I'd make a really great gift.

You can get this. Its a USB turntable that allows you to convert vinyl directly to CD or MP3. It comes with included recording software. The iTTUSB also features a switchable phono/line level output for connecting to any home stereo with an AUX input. It looks pretty cool.

If you want some prefessional to do it they will probably charge you alot of money. This turntable goes for $133.32 at amazon.
