only one flaw.
i love the concept. i love the colors. i even love the creme color! i just hate pigeons. they make me gag. they're disgusting, vile, filthy creatures that don't deserve to live. if i could euthanize one thing on this planet it would have to be the pigeon.

am i alone on this feeling?

congrats on the print, tho. i truly would buy it had there been a different animal behind the striped.

I have a love hate relationship with pigeons as theyre my least favourite bird but I really like the pigeon detectives...not that they are really about pigeons at all

i love pigeons! yes, i'm aware that i am weird, and i fully understand why others can dislike their poopiness so much, but i do love them. i have raise two of them i found on the street - dirty, but SO cute!!
i would buy this shirt based on the fact that it is a pigeon.

i agree too. its a great design, but the pigeon definitely puts me off. if it had been something else, i woulda liked it a lot more.

I always feel sorry for city pigeons. It's a cruel twist of fate that makes them scabby and disease ridden. They could have been wood pigeons or collared doves. I also feel sorry for rats. They shoudl all get the chance to live in warm cozy homes, and get rat treats from the pet shop.

That breaks my heart too Alex.

I used to pu bird food out at my Mum's house. There was one pigeon who'd watch for me and come straight down as soon as I went out. Cheeky little bugger. Then someone put food out for the foxes (dumbass) so all feeding of all wildlife was stopped.

i work in pioneer square in downtown seattle, and there's an awfully fat homeless man who feeds those damn pigeons. he sits outside my store and gives them bread, and they flock in masses towards him and his carbohydrated bread. they've gotten to the point where they wait for him. it's disgusting. they scramble all over each other fighting for the crumbs, even climbing onto him! it's like a terrible car accident. i'm revolted, yet i can't look away.

whether diseased/dirty or not, i don't know how anyone can not like the way pigeons look. they can be sooo pretty!

too bad only one out of 200 pigeons has plumage like that. I was eating lunch outside once and a pigeon with almost no feathers left around its neck walked by and I couldnt finish eating I was so disgusted

Actually I do like pigeons. The pigeon improves this shirt. They're mutants, but in their case that seems like a bonus. I like it when something in nature not only ignores, but thrives upon, humanity's incessant effects.

Of course, I live in a city that is pretty big but not super big; we only have pigeons downtown and in the park closest to downtown. I can definitely see why New Yorkers, for example, would dislike them -- or people outside the States with centuries-old buildings all around their town. Here, we call gulls "sky rats." They're a lot more annoying and ubiquitous than pigeons. (We are the City of Lakes so presumably that's why.)
