Threadless has such a great artist community, so I was hoping you could look at my piece.

This is for my "final" project for my Art class this year, and I wanted to know what everyone thought. Feel free to critique. In fact, please do. It's not due till tomorrow, and I can still edit some stuff if you have a good idea that I can fix.

my one major critique is that i wish the directional lighting was on the face instead of the shirt...it kinda dulls out the face, and even though that's not the focus of the photo, it still would be nice for that area to be lighter than the shirt tone.

also, it doesn't seem that hard to photoshop that triangle behind your body into black, so the focus is all on the model!

besides those two things, i think it's a cool idea =)

I actually wanted to photoshop that triangle out. My teacher was adamant about it staying. I still don't agree, but I'm not going to take a grade reduction from it.

ha! usually teachers are like, GET RID OF THE DISTRACTIONS. maybe you could have two versions, so if you use it as a portfolio piece, you use the version you like more.

That's probably want I'm going to do. She says it gives the photo "a sense of space," but I don't think it needs it, nor do I think it gives it a sense of space. Oh well.

All about me

Hey, Threadless folks. Been on threadless since spring 2005, but I got a new profile. Scandalous!

I'm located in suburbia, New York. I'm an aspiring screenwriter, and an aspiring t-shirt designer when I have some time over the summer.
