I do find it concerning that I increasingly regard my 9-to-5 as an indelicate form of soul-rape.

Leon, I can still be an asshole if you would like, but I've quite mellowed since being a regular here. I'll be less cocky, less needy and less opinionated. Mainly because I've found drugs.

Hey Randy!

that happened to a guy in my highschool. at 17 he was the most arrogant bastard in the school and bullied other kids relentlessly, but after highschool he got high and mellowed out and became a total sweetheart. maybe they should add a weed class to the highschool syllabus.

I never had the luxury of being a bully, because I'm puny. It was probably a good decision on natures' part.

did you have a big friend though? every school has a loudmouthed pissant with muscle to back him up.

Had several very large friends in college, so if there was a loudmouthed pissant stage it must have happened there. I don't remember though. I was probably too busy being a dick.

That's a very familiar feeling... It drove me to give up my flat, sell or store all my possessions and wander round the world for 18 months. Not such a bad thing really!

What did you do for food? Where did you sleep?

you know it's tough, but every day I put my hunter-gatherer skills to the test and with cunning and stealth, stalk out the cheapest restaurant. some days the gods are on my side and I get a a huge bowl of noodles for 50c, other days I'm forced to either pay $6 for a poor imitation of a sandwich or go hungry.

As for sleeping, hotels, guesthouses and backpackers tend to do the trick, although they get angry when I do cave drawings on their walls
