I $5'd this, and now I most likely won't buy it, because it takes all the edge away. Now it just looks like a stupid play on penguins and nuns.

even if you told someone the title youd also have to include that its a penguin saying it referring to the nun for them to get it. but theyd probably so "oh, haha. shouldnt that be on the shirt then?"

spires - well, maybe if there had been a major change . . . like a smaller bubble that looked like one of the penguins on the side was muttering it or something. (a la back-of-the-classroom muttering to elicit snickering)

i just didn't much like the shirt with that huge bubble, though. no cleverness to it.

I wanted the type to big and bold and blunt and completely without subtlety.

Threadless gave me the opportunity to rework it before they removed it, but I figured if it wasn't gonna be printed the way I wanted it to be, then they may as well just give the text the axe.

I'm not complaining, or biting the hand that feeds me at all. I'm glad for the opportunity to have it printed. But I am disappointed.

I'm dissapointed because I laughed like a rabid asshole when I first saw that design, and now it's ruined.
