How do you convert something into ASCII art? Do you HAVE to type all those letters manually and see what works and what doesn't? Or is there an easier way to do it?

it's down now, BTW.

There's software that converts it. I would kill myself if I had to do that manually!

The software isn't smart, so you have to tweak the type and the characters used to get the image looking halfway decent.
