oh man that happened to me except with a three shelve/bookcase on my wall. i had like a hundred books on it and i was just sitting on my bed and it cascaded in slow motion and i thought i had died .

That happened to me too ginette. I walked passed our 5 shelf bookcase on our landing and the whole fucking thing fell over and missed me by a whisker. If it had landed on one of my kids it would have killed them. Nailed the bastard to wall now.

Oh man, I hate it when stuff like that happens.
When I was younger the shelf that housed the glasses in her kitchen cabinet fell down on my friend. She got some wickedly bad scars but thankfully lived.

i'm still completely shocked that this happened. i'm so greatful that my sweetie (spires) wasn't in that area and even me! just to think for a split second i thought about getting up to go to the fridge to get a drink but didn't feel like it at the moment because i'm having a lot of muscle pain in my left leg.

over an hour went by and we're still wired and jumpy.

Once, I used to sleep with my TV on a bracket on the wall above my head. It had been there for years. One night I got up to go for a piss, and as I got out of bed, the whole thing came crashing down on where my face had just been.
