5.(optional): My mom just had another round of chemo (recently found out she had cancer again) therapy today. It's not a happy time in the house really...but at least she's still doing good. So it's one of those- really sad because of what's happening, but I can be happy because things are going on the right track so far.

I don't know if i'm happy.. i have a fucked up brain that makes me emotionally bipolar. I go from really happy to depressed in 15 minutes, and sometimes vice versa, with very little cause. But since people don't really understand that, it makes having friends really hard.

5. I have a lot of anxiety, so it seems I am always worrying about something.

I am happy because of the people in my life, my husband, my cats, my sister, my students, my co-workers.

I am unhappy because I feel so much pressure with the responsibility of being a teacher; limited money for classroom supplies, giving a lot and feeling sapped, oh and being disorganized at home.

5.(optional): Frustrated with work, being forced to compromise myself for work for the the past 3 years, and getting barely anything but verbal praise...look I'm all for compliments, but I want some action, not just words. At some point you got to ask what's in it for your career, for your wellbeing. Feeling a bit used at the moment.

Now I have to get immunised (I hate needles) so I can travel for work, the TV broke down just the other day and I have exams in a couple of weeks...oh yeah things are just peachy at the moment. On the upside, venting is good. Nice to get that off my chest.

I'll be happy once I get immunised, complete my exams, get a new TV (send my budget for a spin), and come back from my travels, safely, in one piece, with my luggage all intact, in that order.

5. having dealt with pretty severe depression for the last 5years, i'm finally beginning to get over myself (and i dont care what you say self-obsession IS what depression turns into).
