Looks like I'm flying to Bastrop, TX to visit my fiance's old man for the upcoming week. I'm hoping to take some good photos while I'm there.
Et toi? about A Voyage of Discovery
This needed to be printed... but I'm left wondering what the Decemberists tee is going to be. This was definately one of my leading canidates, so now I'm really getting anxious about that. I just bought tickets for fifteen bucks a pop at Messiah College in PA, and I want that tee in time for the concert.
This is a big competition with a big prize, like many good sporting events; so why not place your bets? There are many promising submissions to Threadless Loves Threadless, but which one do you think is the most original and overall best?
This is mainly for pass-time entertainment, but if anybody can think of an inventive way to get something out of it, I'd be willing to have a go. If no ideas arise, I'll just toss a handfull of STPs the lucky gambler's way. Repeats are void. One guess per person. No changing your mind because you guessed too early in the competition.
I think that would help keep the feisty teenagers who submit over a hundred slogans from overdoing it. Maybe a limit of a handful a day, or something like that. Honestly, since the slogans were added, people have submitted some awful things that often didn't use correct spelling or even make sense. That whole slogan idea is flooded with such things, and a limit might help. Or not. Just an idea.
From this time yesterday to now, yep, I've been exploring the mysteries of the Threadless change over. I have blogged, sloganed, voted, ordered, and worked on my profile, as well as a few new design ideas. This sucked me in, and I have to pull back out of it to go to work now. So who else became addicted?
![]() This was taken outside of Central Park, NYC. Those colors aren't doctored at all, I simply desaturated everything but the buggies. I used a Nikon digital SLR. So... what do you think? |
