Dude, there are A LOT of Fantastic Designers here. I could not pick someone as the IT person.

yes all the designers are great
BUT
fatheeds designs are, for right now, really great
and
"exceed"
in design due to the pun/reference/cool factor in all of his work.

They are a bit funny but so far I am not that impressed enough to purchase one of his designs for a t-shirt. Just not a favourite style for me. Don't get me wrong, the bloke has talent.

fatheed is the new Glennz.

Another Great designer. But also not my taste for t-shirts on most of his designs. Again, don't get me wrong, Glennz is Fantastic.

I had written out a well-thought-out response for my original declaration, but the internet ate it. So, here's the sum-up:

1. There are plenty of Threadless immortals and awesome designers (Glennz and Olli included, especially Olli since he got three shirts printed in a row last month), but every once in a while a NEW designer comes along...

2. ...and sets the Threadless world on fire with either a new way to present t-shirt design, or takes a concept already established and flips it on its ear or at least takes it to the next level, and I think Fatheed has done that with his recent designs.

3. Chris Buchholz was the designer a few months that got his first 4 of 6 designs printed.

Yeah, those are great. I would wear 3 out of those 5

fatheed has the same quailty as Glennz, Olli, and cbuchholz he can appeal to the masses with out losing any creatively and originality. That's hard to do.

Yeah, I like fatheed's designs, although they're not the kind of thing I'd wear. He has a knack of coming up with good concepts and illustrating them cleanly yet dynamically. I've said it before but I feel Glennz' designs lack character at times, which is why I prefer fatheed's.
