Dude, there's probably so many new people since we last updated this thing, lol. Welcome all of you, excuse the cobwebs and the needs to give all the punctuation a good polishing. And yes, your mind is a filthy no-good whore if you thought there was anything dirty about that last sentence.

I have been a horrible clubhouse leader lately, with many awesome members of this club welcoming all the new people and offering them support since my absence.

Hopefully we'll get this place up and rebooted soon (and I think I'll just take some things out for a bit until we get more sorted out), but it's just nice to come out of a winter's shelter many of us have been clingly tightly to for a long time, with the slightest bit of new slogan news would keep the flame burning for just a little longer.

I can't wait for us all to bask a bit in the light of the new slogan mindset at Threadless and have their attentions again, so let's set this slogan ship cruise seaward again right with some of the best new slogans we can offer Threadless and anyone who wants to be amused for a couple seconds, and maybe even more if it's a really good fucking slogan :) Let's overwhelm the slogan blatherers and lewd-joke-repeaters with such a force of word wonderful that they'll be shamed into stepping up their shit. At least come out with their own shitty slogans instead of Will Ferrel movie characters, lol.

Sure the new system's in need of a little fine-tuning, but that's something that Threadless will actually WORK with us on....which for a company of this many millions in the bank and still counts on us for helping them shape their online world is just an amazing statement for what people mean to this place. I just wish the beginnings of this change didn't take so long as to nearly put out the flame of creative enthusiasm in some of my favorite slogan creators....slogan writers that I consider some of the funniest comedians I've had the pleasure of enjoying many a joke. I mean, Larlar ranks right up there with a ton of famous comedy minds in my opinion.

The reason I place such a high esteem and relish their slogan work is because I feel our can be equal to any design out there. It is not worth a fourth of the money an illustration gets paid to me in artistic value. A brilliant slogan - and not just the type tee, but the actual slogan itself- as well as a brilliant shirt design are the same thing to me: brilliant.

IT IS FINALLY OUT TIME......TO RISEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!

*even the crickets in the audience sound bored*

So i kind of quickly made a better version of what i just wrote here and slapped it up top as a kind of renewed mission statement of what this club is and tries to do.

I know I don't have the amount of time I used to be able to devote to keeping this sucker afloat and equipped with the latest advances in slogan technologies (especially with a boy/girl on the way soon, which I haven't really mentioned on Threadless, lol)...but i'd love for this place to exist again in a more meaningful way, helping foster sorta crappy sloganeers who eventually become impressive voices in their own right. It's happened before here...

Hopefully Dennis, Ross, Nester, Ro (and really, everyone in the club!) can help this place stay on the tracks again...whatever the hell that means :)
