They ARE sperm. I showed it to a friend today, and she said, "Oh... and those are..."



and I said, "Spermatazoa."



and she said, "Yeah. I just... didn't want to say it out loud."

I should probably explain: there won't be a lot more color added to the actual Madonna and child, and the added gloriole will be in gold... the bottom portion will be in dark olive tones so that it appears to be rising out of the olive cloth it's painted on.
