When I came up with the idea for this design I have to admit I laughed out loud to myself. I like the mix of old school meets art education and the fact that not everyone gets it makes it even more interesting to me. Seeing this design made into a print is exciting to me as well as it brings it all right back to it's concepts roots.

Renι Magritte is by far my most favorite surrealist artist. I was awe struck by his work when I saw it on display at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in 1992 (only the third time his art has been on display in NYC). That coupled with the fact that I have loved gaming since the early days of Atari and still do at *cough*32+*cough* years old... Well lets just say I got a 'warped' sense of humor. Get it? Warped? Like a warp pipe in Mario.. anyone? Ahem....

I'm so happy it got printed. I love threadless, I love this community and I love the talent around here. From day one I was thrilled to be involved with such a diverse group of artist and art appreciators. I'm honored for the opportunity to have been selected as a winner and doubly so to be printed again as... well, a print. Thank you everyone and thank you Threadless!!!

Love,
little g

This is easily the best print yet. Being a parody from the art world it totally needed to become a print. After I got whacked by Inland Revenue for the last tube, I vowed not to buy prints again any time soon, but this changed my mind.

It's selling out about 100 times faster than any other print up to this point. Congrats again on making a classic!

I have no idea why this wasn't in the very first batch of prints. It is living in my cart, and will soon live on my wall. Love it!

Man, I need to get on this one before it is all sold out. What Fatheed said was completely right, it's the ultimate in ironic and just plain wonderful comedy and modern views versus high-low art and what art really is drawing from both video games (which some still believe to be "kid's stuff") and surrealistic art masters. I will be picking up a copy of this before it runs out, it's too good to miss!

Congrats! This is really cool. I haven't bought a print yet, but I'm seriously thinking of picking this up.

Argh! *pulls hair* It's happening again! I live in Canada and for some reason it won't let me select a shipping option and only has the expensive one. Has this happened to anyone else? I wanted to order this, but can't pay that much in shipping.

Yeah, I really love this, and I'm thinking of braving the massive postage charge to get it.

Fatheed, how much did customs sting you for?

The shipping charges add up to more than the cost of the print when sent to Canada :(

I am a major gamer who has been working in the video games industry the past five years and I can't tell you how psyched I am to have this on the wall of my office. Now I just need to find a SICK artsy frame in NYC that doesn't cost a bundle--any suggestions?

A metal pipe frame. There has got to be something like that in NYC. Raw pipe too, not polished. Glad you like the print :)

A raw pipe frame, like something off a scaffold? I love that idea.

Damn!! The print got sold out before I could buy it! It's easily, as said above, the best print of the bunch!
