Really now? A tree?

about Tree

I am sorry but a tree with visible roots is probably the most overdone thing I see on threadless. What makes this special? Either I don't get the "concept" or another boring tree tee just hit the racks.

It's a fantastically well-drawn tree. It looks great on the shirt. How many other boring tree tees are there? I can't think of a single threadless shirt that's just a tree.

I love trees, and appreciate the straight forwardness of this shirt, but I think the design itself could be better. Yes, it's a nice tree. That's all, just nice.

seriously, it's nice and simple, and a little more sober than many of the other tees we see on threadless. makes for a nice change of pace.

also the fact that the tree is very precisely drawn, and the leaves are perfect, then the light shading for the roots... it all works!

what's not to like?

I love it too. It's refreshing to see a simple yet beautiful design like this since most of the time the designs that are printed have some sort of joke behind it.

I think that everyone is really missing the point of the blog. She's not saying that it doesn't fall into the "simple and beautiful" category- she's saying that the shirt is boring. And it is. It's simple, beautiful, and boring.

i think the most over done design/idea on threadless is the '7 ate 9' joke, oh and the tree is nice.

Well as an artist who who focuses on trees I was disappointed. And all of you are like

haay it's pretty guysss...

common as far as tree shapes go that thing is a Bradford Pear basically a tree trying to look like a gumdrop. I am not amused.
