and I don't kno whow to resize a photo to submit it for streetteam points. I've got a bunch of shirts that i've got photos of but i don't know how to get them down to the required size. How dumb is that?
Any tips? Or really could you just tell me what to do?
Tanks a million!

In one of the menus there should be an option for "image size" where you can resize the image. In PSP it's under the "Image" menu...I forget which one it is in Photoshop.

under that same menu, after you do the image size, you can then crop the image using canvas size

Open PS & create a new document.

A menu will pop up. In the size area, tpe in the dimensions & be sure it's set on PIXELS (in the drop down).

Now, open your photo document.

Select all.

Copy.

Go to your new document and paste.

Now use the transform tool to size it how you want in the space alloted.

Go to FILE > SAVE FOR WEB

And toggle with the image quality until it's size small enough for Threadless.

oh god, lol. i should learn how to use the program if I've got it, eh?

Okay, so my other question is about the dimensions, why is it supposed to be wider (380) than it is tall(272)? shouldn't it be taller than it is wide?
mezo

That sure is a silly question, jazzed.

To sum it up, it's because Threadless and your mother says so!

ahh i can't sort it out!

I'm really not big in this whole technology thing. And you'd think resizing would be simple...

you might have to try IrfanView.

google it and try to find a free download. there's a pretty simple resizing tool in it.

STEP BY STEP FOR JAZZED:

1. Start Photoshop.

2. FILE > NEW

3. A menu pops up where you can name your new file. We will call it ThreadlessPic. After you type that in look lower and see an area where you can make the overall size of your file. Before typing in 380 to the WIDTH area and 272 to the HEIGHT area, be sure it is set to PIXELS in the smaller drop down menus beside the width & height. Now, type in the 380 & 272. Hit OK.

4. Open your original photo.

5. Go to SELECT > ALL

6. Go to EDIT > COPY

7. Return back to your ThreadlessPic file you have.

8. EDIT > PASTE

Now your original picture will be in the ThreadlessPic file.

9. Use yout transform tool to resize original pic to fit into ThreadlessPic. Or EDIT > TRANSFORM > SCALE.

***Be sure to hold down the SHIFT key to maintain proper proportions***

10. FILE > SAVE FOR WEB

11. Drink a beer.

Books are Good for You

I'm addicted to these shirts, and to music and to staying up late for laundry. Well the last one was lie, but I almost had you, right?
There's actually more to me than that, though, but I hate these boxes, so that's all I got!

Peace out, campers.
