Threadless forces blind, homeless kids with sickle cell anemia to painstakingly make these shirts. If they mess up once, no matter how slight, they're executed.
Most of the shirts are made in Bangladesh, while I think some Select tees and 'custom threadless color' shirts are made in the U.S. 12club tees say Bangladesh.
Bangladesh is the garment capital of the world... there are many factories, a lot of them are sweatshops. Threadless have stated that their shirts are produced by a factory that adheres to basic labour laws... I don't know if they have visited the factory to verify this yet
I remember a blog quite a while ago when the new shirts were still in development about Jake Nickell visiting the factory where the shirts were to be made to verify it wasn't a sweatshop.
