Lately there have been very few shirt designs that I would actually consider wearing.. but that is actually a good thing, because it means that Threadless is doing a great job of appealing to a variety of individuals with taste that spans a pretty broad spectrum of aesthetics..


but then the fabulous "Our Secret Tuesdays"design appeared outta nowehere and stole my heart!

I really love this style of drawing, and I especially love the nimble little details of the tree that has sprouted magically from the teacup, and the violin the girl is playing..

Also, the colors are quite unique-- the color yellow is one of my favorites at the moment.

Thank you Threadless, for letting another beautiful design be printed! :)

Wowie!

Today my entire day has been made heaps more brilliant and exciting, because I got a letter from the lomo newsletter and threadless, announcing the most beautiful union of online communities i could ever imagine!


Threadless + Lomography?
This could save the world, once and for all, I think.


I have had a longstanding obsession with lomos and holgas (which sounds similar to, be is not the same as homeless and logos), and now own a very dear little Holga, which I consider to be a magician of light.

We're all allowed to submit up to three designs, so I better get started!

The prizes for this competition are amazing-- a lomography dream kit!
I never win things like this, but please, if the gods of Lomography and threadless are listening, please look upon me in favor!

I finally submitted my first threadless design critique! I hope I get some more feedback, because this drawing is very dear to me..

I have been in love with threadless designs for so long that I am happy to finally contribute my own ideas! :)

I was beginning to fear that the dear little package containing our first threadless t-shirt order (it's about time!) got lost on it's way out here to new zealand, but my faith in the postal service has been renewed!

The package finally arrived! It came in the form of a delightful little pillow...

I think it was delivered by sparrows... so we now have 8 new t-shirts to parade about the streets of Auckland in!

I especially like the "Homage to the Hunter" shirt, "Freeloader on the Yak Express", "Hummingbird and Snake", "In Pachydermic Fashion" and the "Flightless" shirts..

The Flightless shirt even has some very clever, soft-to-the-touch ink techniques-- including some very soft flowers printed in orange flock!

Sadly, one of the long sleeved shirts has a fairly large rip in the shouldler! Oh well..

Cheers, threadless, for bringing so much beauty into our world!
