  • I actually had the same reaction, only I was disappointed when I saw that the girls tee was on purple. The praying mantis isn't "hidden" anymore when it's on purple. The green tee makes everything blend in until you really pay attention to the design. It looks much better on green.

  • I don't think that Threadless printed this shirt with the intention for it to be only worn by the gay population. It's pretty open to whatever statement you'd like it to communicate -- whether your message is that you are gay and show gay pride, or whether you're straight but support people who are gay, or that you just think that it's a clever design. It works on many levels.
