When Threadless had a sale last spring, I bought a Girly XL of this shirt, thinking I'd stow it away for my sister's birthday. Then she went and lost a ton of weight without first consulting me, and now I still have this shirt. I wear a small and I don't play video games, so this is a problem. I'm looking for a nice home to give it to. It was only like nine dollars or something, so I'm not worried about selling it. If you want this shirt for free - yes, free! - let me know.

I've been trying to figure out what this illustration reminded me of, and I think I've found the answer... Isn't it a little Hey Arnold-esque??? I'm not saying that's a bad thing. I like it. A lot. about Heroes In An Art Shell
This shirt is so wonderful. I plan on buying it (or swindling my mom into buying it for me) the moment I am notified that it has been reprinted. And it surely will be. Right?? Goodness, I hope so. I love shirts that you have to think about to understand, and this is definitely one of them. When I first saw it, I knew they were artists - I recognized a couple of them - and I knew they were wearing different colored masks. But I couldn't figure out why. It wasn't until I read the original comments that I realized the Ninja Turtle connection. Very clever. It really sucks that all of my favorite shirts are out of stock right now. I know a big sale just ended, though. And as much as I hate having to wait for the shirts to be reprinted, I wouldn't want to sacrifice the sales just to keep shirts in stock. That's why I love Threadless so much. Not only is every shirt voted on by the people who will be wearing it, but what other website sells t-shirts for $10??? I can't think of any. Even during normal periods, though, $17 for a shirt is more than decent. They're usually more than $20, especially on the internet. Not on Threadless, though! Amazing. |

I'm a sophomore in college, and that takes up most of my life. On the side, though, I'm a letter-writing enthusiast, a movie lover, and a watcher of crappy TV. I also collect t-shirts, which is how I ended up on here. That's pretty much all I have to say.
