how to get 'chosen T about to sell out' emails ?

Hi folks,
until a few months back, I got auto-emails when stocks on any T in my 'shopping list' are about to sell out, so I can could put the order in.
Is this no longer done automatically? Is there a setting in the profile I can to change to get these warnings again?

i think if you have it in your shopping cart, you'll get an email notification.

It hasn't ever done that for me. Something sold out from under my nose once.

yer, thats what USED to happen, but a couple of months ago and again this week, I didn't get any notification. I know they can indicate 'plenty/low stock' in the catalog, but I presume most of us will not be checking back everyday to make sure there's still plenty.
I'll ask the guys directly in a bit ..

For anyone interested, you can check you have 'notifications emails' checked to 'yes' in your profile AND (as in my own case) check that these aren't going to be blocked by your Spam filter.
