Kudos to Kerry Wicks for breaking (okay, maybe just strrretching) the one design rule for this competition: Due to the strict brand standards of the American Red Cross "Red Cross" graphic, any design that uses that graphic - regardless of size, color or orientation or the words "red cross" - will be declined.

Nope, you are WRONG! The red cross graphic itself was not allowed, but any kind of representation of a cross through a collage of other elements was ok.

yeah, threadless decreed a leniency rule, but yeah, alot of people didn't catch it and are probably miffed now. i'm miffed for them.

the "Red Cross Graphic" is a red cross that is a certain shape & proportion, next to the words "American Red Cross" (as pictured in the box, upper left on the "Loves" page.) this design in no way uses that graphic.



I don't know if this has anything to do w/not being able to show it, but that particular red cross is a registered trademark owned by Johnson & Johnson, NOT the American Red Cross:
