people, i realise that it's neither big nor clever to make fun of emos. Actually it's really low, and such, this blog should be seen as celebration of all things pink and black. So, in honour of bleeding heart being reprinted, which quite possibly is the most emo item known to exist, i present the emo awards.

I recently had my order lost by threadless. They very decently gave me a coupon code for my money back plus $5 for the trouble.
But the coupon doesn't work! i've tried it about 20 times, and it really doesn't!

Is there anybody out there who is from the UK, but is doing a Ph.D in America?
If so, how hard was it to get on the course? how much is it costing you? Where are you doing it? what are you doing it in?
Of couse, any Americans doing their PhDs in America can also comment. Do you have any insights into the policies of your university with regards to foreign students?
