I would have gladly listed the other candidates but they rarely see a chance of winning. I personally think that either we as people & media need to really recognize the Independent Party and have them at debates. But they are minor candidates and they simply take the votes that could easily go to either the Democratic candidate or Republican candidate to win.

They aren't interchangeable though. They stand for completely different issues than the two corporate parties.

I agree...and I would vote for an Independent too but those votes just go to waste .. don't you agree?
I mean, if they actually stood equally (in amount of votes) and a lot of people voted for an Independent candidate like demo and repub. candidates -- that would mean something and they would stand the chance to win.

Votes matter. Always. A sizable portion of the population (even 3% is huge) voting for third party says something.
