Hey! Are there any Teachers ?

I know ofthecoast is.....
I gotta ask a question:

Do you know how I can get certified to become a Art Teacher just with a Bachelors Degree in Graphic Design?

Also, are there any sites where they list Teaching jobs?

Also, do I need to get certified if I want to teach in different state?

it's different in America than Canada, I think because here you have to have a Bachelors in Education to teach anything.

Also, Education is provincially legislated, whereas in America it's federal, right? Anyway, I have no idea. Sorry.

In some states, it's different... I think Massachusetts has pretty restrictive rules about teaching degrees and more/different testing you have to go through.

just for some basic information you could check the Department of Education site of a certain state or Craigslist's Education jobs in a specific area... job descriptions will let you know what most people are looking for in terms of certification and education.

I am trying to find a main site that kind of covers everything about Teaching. But can't seem too. There has to be some kind of a organization by the u.s. government that has a site just about teaching!?!

And I m thinking about Elementary school age. I have been working with kids age 7-12 since 2005.
