i was out and about today--running errands and stuff. when i was done, i thought i'd go hang out at the mall cuz i was bored and had time to kill. while eating a soft serve from McDee's, a guy wearing a bow tie caught my eye. "well, doesn't that look interesting," i thought to myself. wonder if i can pull that look off and from that moment, i decided i'd like to try that.

apparently not every department store sells bow ties. i went to like 5 different stores until i found one. the salesperson asked a lot of questions (can't a guy just buy a bow tie for no reason??). i lied and told him it was for a wedding to get him off my back. then i made this big elaborate story--best friend's wedding on the beach; groom met the bribe at a mutual friend's housewarming party; honeymoon in paris; blah blah blah.

anyways, i've never tied a bow tie before. youtube taught me how in like 2 minutes.

here's the end result. i think i'm gonna start the bow tie trend.

If you know me, then you'd know I'm a big sleepy head. I can sleep just about any where, any time -- I'm a champion napper. So when I was asked to design a select, I wanted to design something that I felt truly passionate about: sleeping.

So, if you guessed that the kid in the design is me, you get a gold star. Cheers to all my napper and dreamer friends!

I want to give a big THANK YOU to Dustin, Ross, and the hard workers at both Threadless and the printers for making this design come to fruition. There were some bumps in the road -- collar print, color limits, back print, etc. -- but in the end, the shirt looks great, and I thank you all. And WOW! at a kids select!

welp, there you have it... Mr. Choppy Jr. i stuck on the wheels and shipped it to HQ already. don't expect it to fly down the racetracks cuz i didn't do any aerodynamics or wind tunnel testing. heck, i don't even know how much it weighs! i had fun making it though.

i think i'll take a break now -- catch up on my sleep and movies. anyone have any movie recommendations? i got I AM LEGEND and ENCHANTED and some other movie i forget from netflix right now.

TWO seems to be the number for me today. Today is my 2nd Threadless anniversary, two designs came out today,... erm...I still have two arms, two legs, two eyes, two nostrils, TWO TWO!

I want to thank Threadless for everything. Threadless has been awfully nice to me and I just can't thank them enough. Everyone at Threadless -- from Jake to the packing crew in the warehouse, heck! even the printers -- THANK YOU!
