is he wearing socks or shoes? looks like black socks. Maybe you need some highlight details on the feet if they are shoes, or at least a shirt color line to devide the pants from the socks...

Perhaps the flourishes could interact with the character more. Maybe have somewhat wrapped around his arm, leg, etc. Wonderful concept though as always hue.

That is the onlt thing I feel lis alittle off, too. Maybe he should be wearnig spats! I think maybe a couple of more sheets of music could help also.

I think you should have put the simpler flourishes around the conductor, and moved the lilies and floating sheet music above him, so that there is an expansion of movement and energy out and away from him, like swelling music. As it is, all the energy and "sound" is contained immediately around the conductor and then it becomes staic and "quiet" as the eye moves up and to the left.

Also, the foreshortening on his torso is a little odd. It's a touch too short. Most people probably wouldn't notice though.

Overall, beautiful concept and I like the shirt colours. It would probably score well as is, but it could score better with some tweaks to the composition.

Also, if the sheet music was higher and "closer" to the viewer, one of them could be larger and more legible as sheet music.
