700 Billion Dollars?! THAT'S IT?!

Why is it that the 700 billion dollar bail outs are making such huge news having such incredible economic results, yet, when 2.3 TRILLION dollars went "unaccounted for" in 2001, people barely batted an eye. Oh yeah...and then 9/11 happened the next day after the Pentagon announced it. So it was kind of swept under the rug.

This administration has been corrupt from the begining....

well, sort of. there's a difference between how much money you have and how much money you're worth. a person might only have $100,000 in actual physical money, but when you take into consideration all of their assets, they're worth even more on paper.

money is weird.

like if i owned a mint condition babe ruth rookie card that's worth several hundred thousand (i'm just making that up), i could include that in my assets or whatever.

it's sort of like when you buy home owner's insurance and you decide how much you want covered, you take into account what all your assets are worth.
