how? whether or not you look at the shirt because of the thumbnail doesn't matter. What if I like the thumbnail better than the shirt. How does that help the designer? This isn't a question of ethics. How am I supposed to buy something that the designer doesn't have enough balls to advertise as what it is?

the thumbnail is only a tag. i know you've seen a commercial that doens't just hit you over the head with a picture of what said item is. if all advertising was straight forward we'd all be sane. not really. but it's not about balls. balls is submitting a design. how you present it is a matter of personal taste.

but it still got your attention, you looked at the shirt, and maybe voted on it too. That's the point.
