Southwest isn't that great. they pack people on their planes like animals. Fly Frontier! even America West is better.

god that sucks...i would raise as much holy hell on their customer service as humanly possible...

Southwest is the only airline where they never overbook flights (that leave me stranded in airports for 10+ hours) or lose my luggage (repeatedly). I actually like being able to chose my own seats, and everything just goes smoothly. I don't think Frontier or America West fly where I am.

and you can choose your seats when you use the other airlines, just remember to do online checkin 24 hours in advance.

Also, Southwest lost my luggage once, but they delivered it to me later that night. Typically, air travel folk are good with tracking down luggage. DO ONOT FRET, DANIEL-SAN!

im pretty sure theyll find everything, just be sure to wash your underwear again, who knows how they might have handled it, but if its all gone, then ill meet you halfway and we can go underwear/game shopping!

Well, they had it the next day, but the whole thing was soaked. Apparently paying $500 for a ticket means they leave your checked luggage out in the middle of a thunderstorm uncovered. Fortunately the comics were only slightly water damaged in one corner, but all my underwear and everything towards the bottom of the suitcase were soaked. I'm not sure if my PS2 is damaged yet or not, I want to wait to make sure it's absolutely dry before I turn it on.



mezo, I meant all the underwear I had packed, so I didn't have any clean ones until they found it.

i always try to cram everything in a bag i can take on the flight...i despise checking in luggage and waiting for it afterwards.



i'm glad you got your stuff back though.

good thing you found it, I was beggining to suspect someone tooks it to get all the goodies and was just pretending it was lost.



maybe next time you should leave cookies packed on top to bribe security with a note that says "dear airport securty please take these cookies and leave my t-shirts alone."

I haven't been on a plane since 2001. Thanks for making me totally paranoid for my flight this August.

You should tell them it's busted and a couple of your shirts are stained and collect the cash anyway. Even if your PS2 works now, I bet getting soaked took a lot of life out of it.
