I just noticed that I had only till a second shy of midnight to get into the Blik <3's Threadless contest, so I made something to get in:

I think these would make neat wall decorations, especially in the bathroo.. I mean kitchen, of course! It'll also make your dinner guests hungry, but maybe not for what you're cooking.

Wearing this shirt into a PETA meeting would be a very stupid idea. Don't even think about it.

EDIT: I changed the preview pic from the first design, re-submitted.

I didn't make it with any gradients. However, I just realized, a pen point with a softer edge, like around the burger buns, is that considered a gradient as well? I thought gradients were tansitions from one color to another.

What does Threadless consider a gradient?

well, the soft edges would be gradients from yellow to white...

well that would be a gradient due to the fade of orange to white and such

it's only 9pm in Chicago (threadless time). Where are you if I may ask...

Ohhhhhhhhhhh crap. Should I keep that in mind for future designs? I didn't think that would be a problem, since the yellow of the buns is just one color placed over the white tshirt. Seeing as how its not necessarily a gradient from one design color to another I thought it would be ok.

Hmm, we'll see what they say!

little g: I'm in LA. I just meant that I only had until 11:59:59 tonight to get a Blik entry in.

So guys, do I have to wait for Threadless to boot it, or can I re-submit my design with the necessary changes? (Taking out the gradient edges wouldn't take long)

re-submit with edits if blik ends tonight. You will get declined most likely for the above design. You've still got time!

For those interested, I posted an edit to the design, without gradients. HOWEVER,.. making it a .gif and compressing it makes it look like ass, and that it also has gradients!!

What do other artists here use to make clean low file .gifs?

little: That's what I did. Maybe I don't know exactly what other artists do. I hope they accept the design though, the master original piece does not look like that of course!

this is way too big for print. 13 inch by 13 inch max
JFish
JFish on Jun 01 '06 at 9:41pm
K: The master file is not over 13x13", it's within 11x11". I see how it looks bigger then the max in the preview, but it is even smaller then 11x11".

hella: Thank you, I remember you still like me, it's ok if you can't help me!
