I'm upgrading my computer at the end of the week, and I figured I'd clean my case since it's filthy and currently empty. I've done about all I can with dust rags and the like, but there's still a ton of dust and dirt in all the nooks and crannies in the drive bay / front panel.

Everything is out except for the front panel [power switch + 2 USB ports + firewire port], which I can't remove, and the cables that connect that panel to the motherboard.

I'd like to just run some water over the entire thing and flush out all the crap. Am I correct in thinking that this will be ok if I let it dry out completely before running any electricity through it? Or am I an idiot who's about to ruin the front panel of his computer?

I was walking back from my car this evening, heading back to my dorm. I have to walk through another dorm to get there. Just inside the door to this intermediate dorm, several people were sitting around talking. One of them mumbled something when I walked by. I turned to my head a little and chuckled as I walked by, which caused them all to chuckle as well.

About 3 minutes later, as I'm approaching my dorm, one of the girls from earlier runs up to me with a friend, saying how much she loved my shirt. She took a picture with a camera phone because she loved it so much. Of course, I directed her to Threadless so that she could get her own if she wanted.

What other shirt could evoke such a reaction out of a complete stranger?

Or was it taken off before any orders shipped out?

I hear people complain about shipping costs sometimes, so I'm curious. I'm in Raleigh, NC and my shipping rate is...

$5.50 for one shirt + 50 cents extra per tee

What's yours?

Does this shirt remind anyone else of SkiFree?

I see a lot of blogs about individual shirts and the people who want them reprtined. Seems inefficient to me. Instead of many blogs, let's make one.

What shirts do you want reprinted right now?

I'm dying for...

Bright Lights
Diabolical Hot Dog
The Day They Came
On The Plains
A Fathon Farewell
Regrowth: Katrina [I can dream, can't I?]

I'm about to make my big end-of-internship presentation to my superiors. I'm really nervous, especially considering the project I was assigned to was a failure.

I think I know what a panic attack is like now...

If I ever get around to taking pictures for the gallery, I'll be half way there, but is it worth it? I've wanted a subscription for a while, but I can never manage to have $200 spendable at any one time.

Maybe for Christmas...

Anyone else here work a 9-to-5 in a cubicles? I hate it. Sometimes I shoot rubber bands over the cube walls out of boredom.

Luckily our internet blocker lets Threadless, del.icio.us and Wikipedia through so I have something to read during the day.

I work at Volvo Trucks North America, btw. Market research intern [despite the fact that it's got nothing to do with my major / intended career].
