Sidenote: I've always liked how they actually painted in his lazy eye. You'd think they'd use portraits to glorify themselves, yeah? Or perhaps lazy eyes were sexy back then. I bet Bushrod got all the girls.

But I love Jason Segel.

Thanksgiving is almost here which means time to gorge ourselves on pie and turkey.
Namely, the pie. That's my favorite part.

Let's have a pie discussion! Tell me your favorite.
And then we can make a pie chart out of the results!

Here's a story:

My class ended early today so I went out to the public library near campus because I had a book on hold. When I walked in there was this little boy (he couldn't have been older than 15) standing there and he waves. At first I ignore him because I have no idea who he is so I assume that he's not waving at me. But then he waves again and I cautiously wave back and he returns that with a big smile.
So, I'm like, whatever, maybe I do know him some how and just forgot, I do some environmental education so maybe he was in one of the classes. So I head on over to the new books section and he comes there as well. And he's like:
"Hey, can we walk and talk?"
And I'm like "..uhh...sure?"
So he starts leading me away from the books and I'm totally confused, he goes "So, how old are you?"
And I reply, "21, how old are you? Shouldn't you be in school?"
He completely ignore my question and instead goes "you're really cute" and he licks his lips and checks me out while doing it!
So now I'm really weirded out and I say, "You know what? I'm going to head back to the new books section".
But then he goes "Can we talk later?"
and I'm like, "Sorry, kid. I'm going home in a few minutes"
So he's like, "Can you at least give me your digits?"
And now it's getting really awkward because people are starting to stare so I'm like, "You know, I'm pretty certain I'm too old for you"

And then he starts crying.
Seriously.
Wtf?

I had no idea what to do so I just left. I didn't even pick up the book that was on hold for me.

Oh dear.

I was going to make my Threadcake, but then I decided to make Harry Potter cupcakes instead since I'm going to a HP6 party tonight.

I'm kinda proud of them, especially since they were so last minute:







They're vanilla cupcakes with a chocolate frosting surprise center and a chocolate ganache topping.
