What an awesome thing to wake up to - not just one person gave me points - but two did!

I bought two shirts and two hoodies for the sale and gave my points to bananaphone.

Winter is coming here in the southern hemisphere so i was hoping they would discount the hoodies a little more to get rid of them but oh well - still a good bargain :D

Cos when i woke up this morning they were all gone...

My sister got one as well so we'll be rocking out in our intepretive dance shirts cos they're so fa-reaking cool.

best type tee EVER...

anybody else glad they got one? or shitted that they missed out?

i think they'll reprint it anyway cos it went like hotcakes and it's only a 1 colour print (which equals more profit :P )

and im so glad they printed on yellow and not gold - gold is a shit colour.

but still what does yellow look like on a guy? are there any other shirts that were printed on yellow that i can see? (apart from the one on shimala)

Argh.... I just ordered like 7 shirts (only 1 for me - the rest my parents are buying as presents for cousins etc)

and i logged out to get the street team points (which is why i feel so bad!) and i just realised none of those shirts will count towards the 365 comp! bah! im so angry and annoyed at myself....

next time i order shirts (which will be very soon likely), i'll be giving my points to someone else so i can get entries into that comp!

so who wants them?

Ok I got some things in my head to say (not all bad however).

1. Why has the packaging changed to 7-10 days? (for international orders anyway). Last time I ordered shirts, 40 minutes later I got an email saying it had shipped - which was insanely quick I have to say - kudos for threadless.

Why such a big change (7-10? they must be really busy there)

2. Shipping costs - everytime I order - the cost of shipping changes (not because I order a different amount of shirts - I did the maths on what it would/should cost for x numbers of shirts).

The cost has gone down though (in most cases) since I first ordered so that's a woo hoo.


But my last two orders (both within 30 minutes of each other):

First order - 7 tshirts including a select tee. Used a $3 coupon - postage was $18.50

Second order - 6 tshirts all normal. Used a $3 coupon AND my $12 in STP's - postage was $21.50.

(I included coupon/STP to differentiate the orders - the postage cost is the orginial postage amount)

is it just me or is that wierd? for 7 shirts the postage is less than if 6 shirts?

does it matter what type of shirts you order?

To threadless' credit - I havent' had a problem with how the shirts have arrived (they have arrived within the 1.5 - 2 week time frame which is awesome)

I just hate having it change everytime I order.

i opened up my massive package of tshirts (there were 15 waiting for me) and i had thought about it during the day how cool it would be to have one of them a golden tag winner and low and behold!

technically the shirts not mine (it's a girly large - the girl in the plan B photo owns it) but woah! the excitement.

but i'm happy cos i have urban goddess and stabby mcknife to wear for the next little while :D

Seriously. 3/4 of the shirts I want from the sale are black.

Now i'm not terribly tanned - in fact far from it. I practically glow in the dark.


So why do you have to go put Radios, Ctrl Z and Are you in... or out... on BLACK!?!

Firstly, is the only way to 'give' points to someone to buy shirts through their link?

Secondly, if the answer to question one is true - I'm about to order some shirts so who wants some points? (i scratch your back you scratch mine?)

Thirdly, vote for my slogans! (not really a question more of a shameless plug :D )

Im not sure whether to submit as is - or take away the electronic feel to the upper half.

I started drawing the balloon-circle thing first and it eventually turned in the 'around-the-world-in-80-days' concept. I could make the balloon and upper clouds in the same drawing style as the bottom as the two concepts dont make much sense.

I need to make it 'pop' more.






Any suggestions/comments?
